Description

This internship programme, offered by the Strategic Monitoring and Evaluation department under the CEO’s office, is designed to provide unemployed graduates with practical exposure that complements their academic training. It aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and experience to enhance their employability and access to the labour market. The programme spans 24 months and is based in Centurion, offering a monthly stipend between R5 000 and R6 000. Preference will be given to candidates who meet Employment Equity criteria, including persons with disabilities. Applicants who have previously participated in internship or graduate programmes are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic monitoring and evaluation initiatives within the CEO’s office
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for performance tracking
• Contribute to the development and review of strategic plans and frameworks
• Participate in stakeholder engagement and coordination activities
• Help maintain documentation and records related to strategic projects
• Provide administrative support to the Strategic Monitoring and Evaluation team
• Engage in learning and development activities aligned with the internship goals

Qualifications

• NQF Level 7 qualification in Commerce
• NQF Level 7 qualification in Public Management and Administration
• NQF Level 7 qualification in Business Management
• NQF Level 7 qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Team player
• Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident with a valid South African ID
• Must not have participated in any previous internship or graduate programme
